What is BFAtheGym?
BFAtheGym is BFA's dedicated strength and conditioning facility, offering structured physical development programmes that complement our on-pitch football coaching. Whether your child wants to run faster, jump higher, or simply build the physical resilience to train harder and recover better — BFAtheGym has the programme for them.
Our programmes are designed specifically for young athletes and delivered by certified strength and conditioning coaches who understand the demands of youth sport development.
What We Focus On
- Speed & Agility: Developing explosive pace, quick direction changes, and first-step acceleration that make the difference on the pitch
- Strength & Power: Age-appropriate resistance training to build functional strength for football-specific movements
- Endurance & Stamina: Building the aerobic base to maintain performance from the first minute to the last
- Injury Prevention: Movement screening and corrective exercises to keep players healthy and on the pitch
- Recovery & Flexibility: Stretching, mobility work, and recovery protocols to support heavy training loads
Who Is It For?
BFAtheGym programmes are available to BFA football academy players aged 13 and above, as well as young athletes from other sports who want to improve their general athletic performance. Our trainers will assess each athlete and design a programme tailored to their specific needs and goals.
